Kirkin at the Church of the Redeemer - February 13, 2011

The Society of St. Andrew of Sarasota celebrated their Annual "Kirkin' o' the Tartan" at the Church of the Redeemer on Sarasota's waterfront. When Sarasota was settled by Scotsmen in the 1880's, their leader and first Mayor of the new City of Sarasota, Col. John Hamilton Gillespie, founded the Church of the Redeemer and was its Deacon.
